  • When is Picture Day

Picture Day usually takes place in the morning during the regular school day schedule, when kids are happiest and well-rested. You’ll be notified of the specific date and time well in advance.

  • How should I dress my child for Picture Day?

Choose simple, comfortable outfits that reflect your child’s personality. Avoid busy patterns or clothing with large logos. Solid colors or soft prints photograph especially well. If your child is wearing layers, make sure they fit neatly.

  • Will my child be photographed indoors or outdoors?

Photos may be taken either indoors with a backdrop or outdoors in natural light, depending on what works best for the organization and schedule. Both settings create beautiful images.

  • Can siblings be photographed together?

Yes! If both children attend the organization, they can absolutely be photographed together. Be sure to let staff know in advance so we can plan for it.

  • Can my child take photos with friends?

Yes, if time allows, we love capturing fun friendship photos. These are done after individual portraits are completed.

  • Will someone help my child pose or feel comfortable?

Yes. I gently guide children through a few natural, relaxed poses. Familiar teachers and staff will be nearby to help adjust clothing, encourage smiles, and make the experience fun and easy.

  • Do I need to place an order before Picture Day?

No. After Picture Day, you’ll receive a link to an online gallery where you can view your child’s photos and place your order.

  • How long do I have to order?

You’ll have about two weeks to place your order before the gallery closes.

  • What kind of photo packages are available?

Photo packages start at $25 and go up to $130. Options include both prints and digital downloads. Digital images are delivered immediately after purchase. Prints are shipped within about two weeks after the order window closes.

  • When will I receive my photos?

Digital images are available for download as soon as you order. Printed photos are typically delivered within two weeks after the gallery closes.

  • What happens if my child is absent on Picture Day?

If your child misses Picture Day, please check with the daycare to see if a make-up session is possible. This depends on scheduling and availability.

  • Can I be there during my child’s photo session?

For efficiency and to help kids focus, parents are not present during photo sessions. Children tend to respond best with encouragement from familiar teachers and staff.

  • How can I help my child get ready for Picture Day?

You can help by talking about Picture Day in a fun, positive way. Let them know someone will take their photo and that their teachers will be there to help. Choose a comfy outfit they like, and try to stick to your regular morning routine to keep things smooth.
