Who is Chris O’Neil Photography?
Chris O’Neil is a Pinckney-based photographer with over 13 years of experience, serving the Livingston County area and beyond. What does my gymnast need for picture day?
Your gym will provide specific instructions, but in general, your gymnast should:

Arrive in a clean competition leotard (or the leotard designated by the gym).

Have hair neat and secured.
Are parents allowed in the picture-taking area?
To keep the process running smoothly and distraction-free, parents are asked to remain outside of the photo area. Please make sure your gymnast is ready when they arrive.
What if my child has special needs or requires assistance on picture day?
Parents of gymnasts who need extra assistance are always welcome in the photo area. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Can my child take photos with their teammates or siblings?
Absolutely! As long as time allows, we can capture fun group shots with teammates or sibling photos.
Can I request specific poses for my child’s photo?
Yes! Please talk with your gymnast before picture day about any poses they’d like so they are prepared for the session.
How many poses can my gymnast do?
Most gymnasts choose 2–3 poses for their individual photos.
How is the background chosen?
I work with the gym in advance to select the backdrop for picture day.
What happens if we miss picture day?
If your gymnast misses picture day, you can schedule a makeup session. Please contact me at [email protected] to set up a studio session in Pinckney, MI.
How do we order our gymnast’s pictures?
Ordering takes place after picture day. About 1–2 weeks following the event, your gym’s lead contact will send a link via email. This link will take you directly to the ordering site for your gymnast’s images.
How long do we have to place an order?
The ordering link will remain open for 2 weeks after it is sent out.
How much do packages cost?
Packages range from $22 to $100 and include both digital and print options.
How are digital products delivered?
Digital images are delivered immediately after checkout to the email address used at purchase.
How are prints and other physical products delivered?
Prints and physical products are delivered via USPS, usually about 2 weeks after the ordering window closes.
Can we order other products besides digital images and prints?
Yes! In addition to prints and digital images, I offer magnets, bag tags, collages, etc, perfect for showing off your gymnast’s accomplishments.
Will my gymnast’s name be on the pictures?
Yes, you’ll have the option to include or exclude your gymnast’s name when placing your order.
Can I purchase a team photo?
Yes! If the gym requests a team photo to be taken, you’ll have the option to purchase it.
I purchased digital images, what can I do with them?
Digital images are yours to enjoy! You can print them wherever you like and share them on social media to highlight your gymnast’s achievements.
